Grab your fruit salad and jump into the big red car because Erstwilder has collaborated with iconic Aussie kids entertainment group, The Wiggles! Now my partner was a huge Wiggles fan growing up and because he doesn’t read my blogs, I’m free to share that his childhood dream was to become the 5th member of the group (probably the green wiggle). Many Aussie kids know all about how yummy a fruit salad can be all because of a couple of friends in colour skivvies who wanted to entertain kids with music. When I first heard that Erstwilder were releasing a mini Wiggles collection I was beyond curious to see what pieces they would include and by golly were they clever about this! As the Wiggles themselves have changed and some have left the spotlight, I wondered how they would decide which individual to have immortalised in brooch form, instead, we get our favourite side characters such as Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword and The Big Red Car itself partnered with all the best parts of a fruit salad. This collection features brooches, pins and a necklace (which I already adore), and cannot wait to share them all with you.

As always, I have partnered with Erstwilder to share my favourite pieces from this collection with you which I am very excited about. I must tell you that when my Erstwilder parcel arrived, my husband dove for the Wiggles boxes and I just sat back and let him open each one. Watching his face light up when he saw his childhood characters was really sweet and I do hope he wears a pin or two to work every now and then. No one will judge you hubby!

The bright colours, bold designs and solid resin in this collection really helps you connect to the world of The Wiggles. Everything is really fun, clear and most of all, colourful. I think the characters turned out super cute and they would be great for parents who are dragged along to Wiggles concerts with their kids or just for anyone who was a fan growing up. I have a bit of a soft spot for Rosie the Dinosaur as I too like tea and roses so I think she is my favourite. I really think the fruit pieces are very cute and I wasn’t expecting them in this collection. I can see anyone who might just find the pieces cute to snag the small fruits as they can go with anyone regardless if they are a Wiggles fan. The fruit necklace gave me big Carmen Miranda vibes and I really love the matching brooch. I will certainly be wearing these pieces in the summer as it’s got that delicious summer fruit vibe about it.

This is a wonderful nostalgia collection and I’m sure it’ll bring many pieces joy. I have a friend who is a children’s nutritionist who will definitely be getting all the fruit pieces as she thinks it’s a great way to encourage kids to eat healthy because at the end of the day, fruit salad IS yummy yummy.
