K-Beauty Happy Vegan Sheet Mask Review

I use a lot of Kbeauty products and there has been a recent shift to more environmentally conscious ingredients and some companies now offering vegan kbeauty alternatives. Whilst restocking some of my favorite products, I came across a new kbeauty brand called Happy Vegan and I thought I might test out some of their masks. I sheet mask every week and I definitely have my favorite brands so I’m hoping to see how the mask goes in comparison to other popular brands. I tested out the Happy Vegan Vegan Mask Whitening Moisture (the orange packet) by using three sheet masks over the span of three weeks. I did test out the Moisturizing Soothing sheet mask (green packet) but I only had one mask and didn’t think I could make a fair comparison. L_g0091473046.jpg

Always against animal testing and the use of any animal-related ingredients, Happy Vegan shares its love of animals, the environment, and your skin by offering beauty products that are 100% vegan”. Happy Vegan is registered with The Vegan Society.

Thoughts: This sheet mask is filled with 27 ml of essence, including 20,000 ppm niacinamide which has strong brightening properties. In addition, this sheet mask also features a carrot complex rich in vitamin A and carotene, sodium hyaluronate, and grapefruit oil to revitalize dull complexions. The mask itself is made of 100% cupra sheet and is really comfortable on the skin.

Happy Vegan Brightening Moisture Vegan Mask adjusts to the skin immediately. It cools the skin down, helping the active ingredients to penetrate deep within without drying. The sheet mask is practically sheer on the skin, so it’s a great option if you want to wear it on a plane. It’s also dripping in essence so there’s plenty left over for your neck, hands, and arms.

As soon as I finished using the mask, I noticed my skin looked smoother and felt softer, refreshed and hydrated. The effects lasted the whole day and my skin still looked bright the following day. I can see how regular usage can keep your skin looking bright and refreshed as well as youthful and healthy. I would definitely consider purchasing this product again but in terms of sheet masks in general, it was a good first impression.

It’s great to see more and more Kbeauty companies create vegan beauty products and be more conscious about how their products are made. I don’t think a company should create products just to tap into another market for profits if it doesn’t wholeheartedly believe in an animal cruelty-free mindset. From my research on this company, I think it really is trying to create more vegan products and prides itself on its ethics which is something to applaud too. I hope to see more products from this brand in the near future.

Would you try a vegan sheet mask?
