Erstwilder X Pete Cromer Collection

One of the greatest parts about being Australian is getting a wide range of super cute native animals and birds. When my best friend came to visit me in Australia a few months ago, I actually found it really fun to show her all the great little creatures we have here; that’s why I was so excited by the new Erstwilder and Pete Cromer collaboration collection. Pete Cromer has such a unique style or artistry that when translated into brooches, they just work! Here are all the glorious little creatures from the collection, I couldn’t get over how beautiful the resin was, the intricate details but also the range of creatures available. Whenever people think of Australian creatures, they often think Kangaroo’s and Koalas and that about it, extra snaps to Pete Cromer and Erstwilder for including creatures such as the finch, the Tassy Devil, the Tawny Frogmouth and the echidna. So cute!

Wow-what a great collection! I was beyond excited to be the main model for this set and I don’t think I could narrow this collection down to just a few favourites, I love them all! All the pieces were exceptionally well made and very sturdy. The sheer amount of work that went into the design and the final product makes this collection a true Australian treasure. I can see these making wonderful gifts to overseas friends and also something special to wear when celebrating Australia.
A special thank you to Angie from Angie Delarie Pinup Photography for helping me photograph this collection, unfortunately, we weren’t in wildflower season anymore but we really wanted to shoot outside, you know, where the animals normally like to be. We found some pretty lovely locations and also tried to embrace (and brave) the great outdoors…bugs and all.
