I have been a Sailor Moon fan since I was a kid; I remember watching it every weekday morning on CheezTV (wow, what a flashback), whilst getting ready for school. I remember my mum always stressing that I won’t be ready in time as I was glued to the tv for the full episode. Now I wasn’t a huge tv kid and actually found watching tv quite boring but there was something really magical about Sailor Moon which just held my attention and I’ve always loved it. As an adult now, I still enjoy the show and the new reboot but also, since the 25th anniversary, there has been an influx of new Sailor Moon merchandise which I’ve enjoyed looking at and have even purchased a few pieces. The other day, whilst browsing online, I stumbled across Sailor Moon sheet masks. As a huge lover of Kbeauty and Jbeauty, and a big fan of Sailor Moon, these items were in my cart and checked out faster than you can yell “DARIEN!!!!!!!” “SERENA!!!!!!!!” in a dramatic way whilst pretending to reach out.

My face when I found these sheet masks
So today we are testing out three different types of Sailor Moon sheet masks! They are from the brand Creer Beaute who has partnered with Sailor Moon to release the Miracle Romance collection which mainly consists of makeup but does have some skincare. I’ve been slowly testing these masks out over a couple of weeks as I want to see the results a few days after application and not flood my face with essence to the point where it just won’t absorb anything. As we have three to test out, I’ll go through them individually as best I can (having to try and translate everything is a challenge) and then give a general discussion of the results that I found.

Me checking out my skin after a sheet mask
Final thoughts:
Each box comes with a set of five individually packaged sheet masks with super cute illustrations on the front. I was definitely drawn to the packaging because it’s just really lovely and calls to the Sailor Moon fan deep within. Originally, I purchased these masks from YesStyle and I have to admit, for me they were expensive.
I am a little disappointed that the masks themselves had nothing printed or overly special about them. I would have thought for the price and for the collaboration that they would have at least had a cute print on them but they were just plain white cotton sheet masks. The cotton was also very thick which I found a bit heavy on the skin; I personally prefer the thinner masks as I just feel that I get better absorption from them.
The masks fit on my face pretty well but they did have eye flaps which I never really use as I like to treat my eye skin differently to the rest of my face. I just folded them upwards and left them.
The masks recommend you to wear them for around 10 minutes which is on average a lot quicker than a lot of sheet masks. Personally, I found this to be a bit too quick and left mine on for another 10-15 minutes.
The essence from the masks did leave my skin dewy, glowing and plump. I did see some brightening effects but they had worn off by the next day. For the price, I can get a lot better quality with long-lasting results so I don’t think I will be repurchasing these masks again. I did find that the essence also didn’t fully absorb into my skin and left that annoying sticky film which I cleansed off shortly after.
The masks were rose/floral scented and the scent disappeared after a few minutes. The scent was quite strong upon opening but didn’t bother me too much. If you don’t like masks that are perfumed, I wouldn’t recommend these ones.
Overall, these masks are pretty average and although the packaging is cute, I don’t think that they are overall high quality.
For a fun Sailor Moon themed party or sleepover, these would be a lot of fun but they are more gimmicky than glamorous.

Overall, a little disappointing.
