Nail Care – How to keep your claws classy whilst modelling

April 23, 2018April 17, 2018Leave a comment

As important as skincare is for modelling, you can't forget to look after your fingernails. As lots of models pose with their hands near their face, it is essential to make sure your claws are well looked after. I remember a two week period where I almost had a shoot everyday. Each shoot was a … Continue reading Nail Care – How to keep your claws classy whilst modelling

When you leave the house for the first time in months and your body rebels and hates you for it.
It's time for part three of our Snoopy inspired dog house build! Today was all about attaching the side panels and roof which was so much fun with the stapel gun. After some putty filler and sanding, we finished the day off by painting on some primer ready for paint day in part 4!
During my five weeks of bed rest there wasn't much I could do as I was exhausted and couldn't look at a screen for long. So I read a lot of books, most were new and some oldies just for fun. Despite being bed bound I went on so many epic adventures and I've definitely rekindled my love of reading. Thank you to all who sent in their current reads and recommendations!
It's time for part two of how I built my Snoopy inspired dog house. As we made the base of the dog house in part one, today we focused on making the detachable roof. We made the top of the roof flat so you could sit on it and added lots of side panels for extra strength.
This weekend I'm attempting to decipher a vintage French sewing pattern. I have no idea how to use it and there are no instructions... what could possibly go wrong?
As today is @snoopygrams birthday, I thought I'd share a project I did last year where my dad and I built a Snoopy inspired dog house for a @sarsparilly shoot.
It's been raining a lot over here and I have to admit I adore this weather. I love watching the rain and I find it ever so calming; no matter show stressed I am, the rain allows me to take a deep breath and destress.
I really miss sewing so I thought I'd share a dress I made back in May which was #butterick6318 using a gorgeous vintage print cotton from @fabricdotcom
I'm still struggling health wise and I think this is my 5th or 6th week on bed rest. I'm exhausted all the time, pretty lonely and feeling flat but I'm starting to plan projects and ideas for the future.
Today was a good day; I felt well enough to do a little sewing and although I didn't quite get around to tidying uo, I certainly got my appetite back! It's the little wins right? What was one of your little wins for the week?
