Erstwilder Fan Favourites Collection Review

In light of all the chaos in the world, I’m excited to focus on something cute and fun even if it’s for a little while online. Today Erstwilder releases a mini collection of a few fan favourite reimagined in new colourways. I am super happy to get out of my house (even if it’s to take a short walk to the local park), practice social distancing and review some of my favourite items from the collection for you. Oh did I mention there are also scarves? No, oh… there’s also new scarves! Perfect for hiding the fact I haven’t washed my hair in 6 days because I’m in social isolation and didn’t care during the glitter crash.

Of course, I had to get my little mittens onto the Heartfelt Hydrangea brooch and necklace. This is one of my favourite pieces from Erstwilder since I started wearing them many many years ago. I own the pink and blue sets so this purple set was an absolute must and I couldn’t be happier. The resin is crisp, textured and simply beautiful. I love the little details in the flowers and how compact the piece is together. Although not pictured here, I think Erstwilder was onto a great thing when they combined all three colourways into one necklace. Being able to matchy-matchy this set makes it a lovely addition to my collection which I look forward to wearing in the future.

If you have been following my Instagram stories, you will be aware that for over a month, I was visited by about 5 little Fairy Wren’s every day. They would come to my window and spend several hours playing and jumping around much to the annoyance of my cat. She couldn’t figure out why they would be so mean and taunt her for several weeks. I was so happy to be able to own my own little Fairy Wren as in my opinion, no sweeter little bird was ever created. The texture in the resin is simply stunning! I’m a big fan of the different shades of blue and of course, the little pink flowers. I was so sad to have missed out on this beauty before but now it’ll be a beautiful addition to my ever-growing collection.

I am happy as a clam with this cutie pie of a brooch! The Treasure Within brooch is ever so charming and delightful giving off some major Mermaid vibes which always bodes well with me. I think I was a Mermaid once upon a time! I think the textures in the resin are beautiful and I love the comparison between the shiny and the flat coloured textures. The little pearl is oh so cute and I think in general, it’s a very happy and cheerful brooch.

And now onto some super fancy scarves. These lightweight neck scarf are made from 100% Polyester, with a velvet chiffon feel; each design comes in two sizes, a smaller head scarf and a larger neck scarf. I love these scarves and I wear them in a multitude of different ways depending on my mood, how my hair worked out that day and how simple of a vintage style I can muster. Below is a collection of some of my favourites from this collection.

Once again, Erstwilder hit it out of the park with this collection. Kudos to them for cheering us up with a mini collection during this crazy time. If you enjoyed the collection, let me know what you loved and what you purchased for yourself. It’s totally ok to treat yourself in this silly time so go on, do something fun!
