They say that most things come in three’s which makes sense when it comes to Erstwilder’s third and final Care Bears collection. I feel so lucky to have been a part of this collection from the beginning and to wrap up now makes everything come full circle. You can check out the first and second collections here. The third Care Bears collection features some fan favourite characters as well as some new characters and accessories. This collection also includes cardigan clips and new scarves and pins. It’s really a wonderful way to celebrate the success of the Care Bears collection and I can’t wait to share my pieces with you.

I have a little soft spot for Tenderheart Bear as they are simply adorable so today I will review the Tenderheart Bear Brooch and Cardigan clips. I personally love how one character can have so many pieces to match from cardigan clips, scarves to earrings. It really makes putting together an outfit really easy and I love owning a Tenderheart set. I will be adding my Tenderheart stud earrings from a previous collection to this little set in the future. Let’s take a closer look at the A TenderHeart Brooch.

This brooch is made up of solid colour resin and in some points is four layers thick. This makes the brooch really sturdy and thick which I love as I know if it get’s knocked or dropped, there’s a good chance it’ll survive and not break. Tenderheart’s facial features are added into the resin to create a sweet and adorable expression. There are so many little details that the more I look at it, the more I notice; from little tufts of hair on its head, its cute curled over-ears, the heart nose and little hip sign too. The heart image on the tummy is made by inserting pink and red resin and I love the overall look of the finished design. Tenderheart is holding a big pink love heart and I love how it’s holding it up to their chin. It’s just so cute!

To match my Tenderheart brooch, I received the Tenderheart Double Brooch. This brooch can be worn in a few different ways; either as a double brooch or as a cardigan clip. Personally, I will be wearing this piece mainly as a cardigan clip or even a collar clip as I think it’s such a cute look. The Tenderheart Double Brooch consists of two Tenderheart hearts made out of pink and red solid tone resin. It is double layered with a pin backing and two layers of silver chain attached to the bottom of the hearts with loops. This is a really simple design and even if you aren’t a fan of Care Bears, this is a piece you can add to your collection which can blend into any outfit without it screaming it came from the Care Bears.

I think this will be one of my most worn pieces from Erstwilder as it really does go with everything and it will be super cute next Valentine’s Day or even on date night. The length of chain between the two hearts means it can hold a cardigan together, it fits well onto collared garments and it can also be a cute double brooch feature. When I wore it with my Care Bears Sarsparilly dress, it looked super cute on the front neck bow.

Wearing the Tenderheart brooch and Double brooch set together really added an extra element of cute to the whole look. Care Bears are really fun to style as any character can go with any outfit regardless of colour; if you just want to wear Grumpy Bear, go for it! For my Tenderheart set, I wore the Sarsparilly Care Bears dress (full review here) as it just felt like a no brainer when styling anything Care Bears related. The new Care Bears X Erstwilder collection really reminded me how cute this dress was and now that I have these sweet brooches, I want to wear them together all the time. I know I can add my doubt heart brooch to an outfit with any of my previous Care Bear pieces. What a great little collection!

On a side note, I am still obsessed with the boxes that Erstwilder releases with the Care Bears collection. I still remember the unbridled joy I felt when I first saw them, they were originally blue, (do you remember that?) and they still make me smile. You can tell this collaboration was very special to Erstwilder and they really have managed to make some beautiful treasures and keepsakes. I love the cute pink boxes and sometimes just take them down off my shelves to simply marvel at.

I’m so happy for Erstwilder and the success of their Care Bears Collection. I have loved seeing the joy, hype and excitement all these collections have brought Erswtidler fans and I know I really treasure the pieces I have. Care Bears really were a wonderful collection idea and I cannot wait to see what Erstwilder brings out next. As always, if you plan on getting any pieces from this collection, I would advise you to jump on to the Erstwilder website soon as you can as they always sell out very quickly. If you do miss out on your favourite piece, check out stockists straight away and keep an eye on Erstwilder Group pages as sometimes people change their mind and want to sell pieces a week or so later. You might just get lucky. If you still can’t find a piece, have a look on eBay or other auction sites although you might gasp at the price. Good luck in your hunt!

On a sad little ending note, I will be forced to take a bit of a break from a lot of upcoming collaborations so this is my last big hoorah for a while. I’m hoping for no more than a two-month break but we will just have to wait and see. Although I do have heaps of content planned, some of which are collaborations, I have stopped accepting new collaborations for the next little while until I’m able to return.
