Grace Karin – Winter Dress Review

I’m embarrassed by how long it has taken me to get this blog review out but I suppose sometimes life has other plans. Without further delay, I am really excited to bring you the continuation of the Grace Karin dress review with a new GK winter dress; the Women’s 3/4 Sleeve Knee-Length Buttons Decorated Body-con Pencil Dress.

When styling pinup, it’s very easy to be distracted by all the beautiful fabrics and prints so sometimes, plainly coloured dresses get glazed over. This is really unfortunate especially when it is a dress a beautiful as this one. The Grace Karen Women’s 3/4 Sleeve Knee-Length Buttons Decorated Body-con Pencil Dress has an air of elegance, grace and sophistication and reminds me of vintage Dior and Chanel styling. This is a perfect dress for winter and cooler weather in general. It really doesn’t need a lot of styling as it’s simple elegance speaks for itself.

The dress is made from a 96% polyester and 4% spandex making the dress really comfortable and with a slight stretch to it. The dress is available in several colours all suitable for a vintage winter wardrobe but also perhaps the workplace. The skirt is knee length and the decolletage is really beautifully crafted sexy but still demure and romantic. I really loved the decolletage of this dress as it added just that little element of something special that you need in a winter outfit. Also, the button detailing on the front center bodice and center of the sleeves was a lovely touch. The dress has an invisible back center zip, a tie around belt made out of the same dress fabric.

The dress arrived really quickly once the order was placed. It is currently for sale for $34.99 which in my opinion is an excellent price and I’m tempted to get another colour. I chose the grey because I personally like grey on my skin tone but I can also imagine the other colours looking really beautiful especially with certain styling. Grace Karin is amazing for their range of sizes with dresses available from small to 2XL.

Final Thoughts
I honestly have nothing to fault with this dress and would highly recommend the team at Grace Karin. They are polite, professional and wonderful to work with. I’d like to thank them for this collaboration and I love their items very much. This dress is a wonderful item for any vintage lovers wardrobe along with others from the same collection. If you aren’t sold by the wiggle fit, I would recommend wearing a full skirt with the dress to give you a fit and flare style silhouette.
