Oops, I'm a little late but it just got a bit crazy towards the end there! September was the month I had to go to Brisbane and an opportunity to explore a city I had never been to. There was also a lot of prep for Pinup Doll Australia and a night out to see … Continue reading Monthly Outfit Recap – September

Monthly Outfit Recap – August

August started off with a bang and I ran into it at full speed; however, my body had other ideas and I ended up taking close to two weeks off from blogging and work. I'm hoping next month to talk more about living in Endo and some of my recent struggles. I am also looking … Continue reading Monthly Outfit Recap – August

That’s a Wrap – Harley Quinn

"You think I'm just a doll. A doll that's pink and light. A doll you can arrange any way you like. You're wrong. Very wrong. What you think of me is only a ghost of time. I am dangerous. And I will show you just how dark I can be." I've always wanted to get … Continue reading That’s a Wrap – Harley Quinn

What a lovely sunny Saturday it was 💚
It's the long weekend! It's a quiet one for me with only some housework, a catch up with friends and a shoot. It's a pretty exciting shoot but it's all secret squirrel business for now. I can't wait!
The best part about summer is discovering new wonderful places to have adventures. One quiet Wednesday we drove into the hills and found an isolated swimming hole surrounded by beautiful bushland. The water was so calm, clear and cool. It's always such a precious thing to be out and deep in the heart of the beautiful outdoors. As much as I love the beach and the pool, a secret fresh water swimming hole in the mountains is hard to beat.
Today somehow felt like Monday all over again. I was productive for a few hours but then, you know, migraine.
Summertime; sunshine, straw hats and peaches. I went on a cute peach picking adventure a little while ago in preparation of today's blog and video release. Link in bio 🍑
And just like that, the weekend is over. I spent mine with a migraine but it's just made me more determined to have a productive week.
After two days of migraines, it's time to just unwind, have a shower and go to bed early for once.
I feel very blessed that every morning and ever night this fluffy baby comes up for snuggles and cuddles.
I know one day I'll look back and think, "remember when we had to wear masks? Wild times!".
Although we only had to wear masks for two weeks, it was still a chance to get overdressed and be as glamorous as possible. I had just finished sewing this dress when we entered lockdown so whipping up a matching mask wasn't a big task. This is my first attempt at the Gertie Butterick b6380 pattern in @gertie18 fabric. I'm pretty happy with it but I think next time I might adjust the bust a bit more.
